Priestley wins Monster Energy ProWake Show

After being initially postponed by flooding the Monster Energy ProWake Show was held over the weekend in Grafton, towed by Tigé Boats. The boys at ProWake promised an event like no other and delivered exactly that. A never before seen combination of watersports action displays, skydivers skimming across the water and onto the beach right infront of the crowd, fire twirlers and the comfort of the Monster Energy big rig all intertwined with wakeboarding from some of the worlds best.

Watson, Bonifay, Henshaw, Harf and Weatherall made up the international contingent (Harf not riding due to recent shoulder surgery) and they were faced up against Aussies in the likes of Watkins, Priestly, Broome, Ike, Burgess and up and coming riders the Teunissen brothers and Dylan Prideaux.

In an afternoon punished by rain the crowd was solid and were entertained right until the final minute, staying for the podium, the night time water show displays and after party in the Monster Energy big rig.

And at the end of it all it was Brenton Priestly who came out on top, edging out young Cory Teunissen (2nd) and Dylan Prideaux (3rd) to take top honours and the cash in the three man head to head final.
