We’ve teamed up with photographer Brett Hemmings and Cables Wake Park Penrith to create a first: ‘Battle For The Spread’.
It’s a new challenge open to all competent wakeboarders, who will get the chance to be published in Wake Mag.

It will involve a one hour time period where all riders can come and ride and throw down their best tricks for Hemmings to photograph. He will focus on one particular obstacle for each event, and will frame up a shot that will remain consistent throughout the one hour time period, maintaining a level playing field for the riders.

Riders will then thrown down their best tricks on the obstacle and a judging process between guest judges will take place to choose the winning photo. The winning photo will be published in Wake Magazine as a double page spread and titled the winning photo of ‘Battle For The Spread’. Riders won’t  be able to see their photos or know the winner, keeping the suspense until the issue is released.

The first Battle For The Spread session will be held Sunday 15th May at Wake Park Penrith at 3pm.
Riders that aren’t a member will need to purchase a riding pass.
