It’s good to see that wakeboarding has progressed and become so popular, and the reason for this is because of clubs and associations like Wakeboard Queensland running events, and supporting the future of the sport.
Monday 12th – Friday 16th
Next Monday kicks off the start of five days of Grom riding with the Cable event run by QWA. Held at Bli Bli, this event goes from the 12th – 16th of December.
Friday 16th
Backing it straight up at Bli Bli, there will be a Judging Clinic from 6pm – 10pm on the Friday 16th. To be part of this clinic, you must RSVP to Tony on 0412 399 452, this is essential.
Saturday 17th
The next day is Wakeboard Qld Comp four. Details are as follows:

This event will run as one of our Liquid Force/Obrien Wakeboard Queensland events with our normal entry fees and classes.
Riders Briefing at 8:00am
Competition Start at 8:30am

On the day rego $30 for the first family member $20 for extra family members

Sunday 18th
The Wakeboarding Australian Open has its first round at Bli Bli, the official qualifying round for the 2012 IWWF World Cup stop in Perth, WA.
