Sports Nautique 200

We nipped up to to a bursting-at-the-seems Lake Eildon in September to check out the Sport Nautique 200.

The SN200 is a classy sport crossover boat that delivers big on style, quality and features. It puts out a very decent rampy wake, can be used for wakesurfing, and is also a tournament accredited slalom boat, if that’s what floats your boat.

The Sport Nautique 200 comes as a standard package, and as a Team Edition, which we tested. The test boat was fully loaded with all the gear – in fact there’s not much else you could load into a boat this size.

To give you an example of what gear this boat carries, the standard boat (available for $82,900), has the following gear:
Keyless Ignition System, Nautique Digital Cruise with Depth Finder, Analog Gauges, Clarion 4 speaker Stereo, Hydro-Gate with SportShift, Pop-Up Pylon/Lift Ring Combo (Transom), Dripless Shaft Packing, Pull-Out Cleats (4), Flip-Up Driver’s Seat, Bow Filler Cushion, Chromax Hullside Logo and Removable Boarding Platform.

Good stuff, you’re thinking. Make the jump up to the Team edition,  and you’ll get all that plus the Nautique LINC 2.0 Digital Helm with Zero-Off GPS Wakeboard Pro Speed Control System, upgraded Clarion stereo system, with 6 speakers, Flight Control Tower, Wake Package and Removable Swivel Wakeboard/Wakesurf Racks.

  • The Optimal Surface Control (OSC) hull uses the same design as the Ski Nautique 200.
  • Hydro-Gate wake-enhancing device with SportShift allows the wake shape to be
    customised easily from the helm.
  • The innovative fold-away rear seat allows easy access to your boards and gear stored in a huge rear trunk.
  • Optional Side rotating Polk Audio tower speakers
  • Removable swiveling board racks
  • Rear, lockable trunk storage
  • Tunable rudder – customise the load in either direction for the perfect pull
  • Extra-wide rear walk through
  • Optional battery maintenance system with integrated charger – extends life of battery and delivers three modes of operation; charging, conditioning and maintenance
  • Cockpit rear storage easily accessed under foldaway seat
  • Built-in esky/cooler beneath passengers seat
  • Flip up observers seat
  • Instrument panel offset to lower right for easier operation
