Hey all, I’ve just finished up two days of shooting for the 2013 O’Brien catalogue with the rest of the team.
We’ve been shooting out near Clermont, at a lake that was once limestone quarry. Apparently, after digging for about a hundred foot or so, they hit an underground water aquifer, so the quarry started filling up with water. Apparently they couldn’t pump the water out fast enough, and had to bail on the whole thing.
With all the limestone under the surface, the water is this incredible blue colour. And on the right day, you can see 80 foot below the surface. It will definitely go down as one of the most memorable places I’ve ridden.
I’m off to Knoxville next weekend for the final Pro Tour stop.
Hope its not too cold back in Aussie…
Watch out for our feature on Parker in latest issue of Wake Mag, due to hit the shelves early next week.
