Tige continues to hold a prime spot on the Aussie market, battling it out against an impressive array of fully imported and locally built machines.
Of course, it seems like everyone is talking global economy meltdown at the moment, and you might think expensive wakeboard boats would be in the firing line. Rather than take the negative view, however, the boys at Tige are going full speed ahead, continuing to push forward with huge advancements, and releasing a 2009 line of boats that have more innovations than previously seen by the company in one season.
In the latest issue of Wake Magazine, we had the chance to give the Tige 22Ve a good run around while towing ex-pro Greg Falzon for our annual board review.
The 22Ve is of course a giant 22ft in length, and gives plenty of meaning to the word big, both in terms of boat size and Wake size.
Some big things to look out for in this rig are the Alpha Z tower, the colour LCD screen with 65 screen options, Tige's Convex V hull and Taps2 system, and the overall refinement.
Be sure to check out Issue 4 of Wake Magazine for a full review and photos, which is on stands now.
