I never really thought of Deja Vu's Melbourne superstore as small. But since seeing the recently completed showroom extension, I've change me mind. The store itself is now almost two thirds larger in size, packed to the rafters with stock. Snow, skate, wake and surf; you're sure to find what you're looking for. But be prepared to get stuck there - there's hours of window shopping to get through.

Over a few beers and nibbles, industry crew were invited to check out the new store first hand. The standout feature would have to be the perfectly sized, shredable mini ramp that is now a permanent feature of the showroom floor.

Deja's Johno Kohlman along with a handful of store groms were putting on some min ramp demos, enticing a few of us older crew to get back on the deck - and for that I am sore as hell this morning. I dare say they have rekindled a fire inside, so they can expect to see me there after hours, when they will have supervised open skate sessions for punters.

So get down there and check it out, and don't forget to bring your deck in case you're there for closing time.
